Is there an age limit for Judo?
Judo is for all ages! Normally the earliest you can start Judo is around age of 4-5 and there is no age limit on how long you can practice for.
Can you get a black belt in Judo in 3 years?
Typically, it takes about four to five years of dedicated training to achieve a first-degree black belt, or Shodan, in Judo. This timeframe can vary significantly among different practitioners due to personal commitment and the specific training regimen followed.
What makes a good Judoka?
Respect, conditioning, technique, understanding of the rules, a degree of aggression, tenacity to win. And a love for Judo, of course.
